She is employed with Home Instead Senior Care as their Community Outreach serving Orange and Chatham counties. She has experience in marketing, life enrichment activities and day-to-day caregiving while working with seniors in Adult Day settings, Assisted Living communities and Private-Duty home care for 10 years. For the past 8 years, Caryn has served on the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk committee. She is an ambassador with the Hillsborough-Orange Chamber, co-chair of the Hillsborough Leads networking group, and is also active in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber. |

Bill Crittenden Vice President E-mail: Bill@Senior-Care-Management.com Phone: 919/636-2016 Bill has an extensive history in health care administration and human services. He earned the Master of Public Administration degree with a focus in health care administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and has served as the Executive Director and licensed nursing home administrator of continuing care retirement communities in Florida, Maryland, and North Carolina. Additionally Bill is licensed in North Carolina as an assisted living facility administrator. He earned the Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas and the Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School on the TCU campus. Bill served as chaplain in a variety of settings including general hospitals, psychiatric, and correctional settings. For twelve years he served as the Director of Pastoral Care & Counseling in Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, MO. He served Heartland as the Director of Chaplaincy Services and the Director of the Marriage and Family Counseling Center. Bill earned the Doctor of Ministry at the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Bill brings a significant background of skills and experience to his work in geriatric care management and the provision of care for seniors and their families. |

She is a graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Crystal has been with Seniors Guide since early 2006 and has been in publication sales for over seven years. She also serves as a secretary for Health Affairs Round Table and is a member of the Senior Resource Alliance of the Triangle. |

Sandy Gegax Treasurer E-mail: SPGegax@SpringArborLiving.com Phone: 919/303-9990 Sandy is the Executive Director of Spring Arbor of Apex, where she is responsible for hands-on Management and Marketing of a 76-bed assisted living community for senior adults. Sandy has over 16 years of health care experience, ranging from development of a new Alzheimer's Special Care Unit and program, renovation of a 32-unit senior apartment complex/82-bed assisted living community. During her 16 years working with the senior population, she has served as Senior Executive Director, Regional Director of Operations and Administrator Consultant. She currently serves on the N.C. Assisted Living Board of Directors as Vice President, NCALA's Nominating Committee Chairperson and is actively involved in their Education Conferences. One of her many accomplishments includes being the first female member of the Rotary Club in Wendell. Her personal mission is to embrace the assisted living industry, facing the challenges of residents, families, and staff as their partner, while enhancing the quality and dignity of their lives. |

He and his wife are from Iowa and still own a farming operation there. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University and has sales and marketing experience with several large companies including Ralston Purina, Union Carbide and Rhone-Poulenc. For the past 10 years he has been self-employed as an independent broker for life and long-term care insurance and fixed indexed annuities. |
