  Bill Crittenden

Bill has an extensive history in health care administration and human services. He earned the Master of Public Administration degree with a focus in health care administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and has served as the Executive Director and licensed nursing home administrator of continuing care retirement communities in Florida, Maryland, and North Carolina.  Additionally Bill is licensed in North Carolina as an assisted living facility administrator.

He earned the Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas and the Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School on the TCU campus.  Bill served as chaplain in a variety of settings including general hospitals, psychiatric, and correctional settings.  For twelve years he served as the Director of Pastoral Care & Counseling in Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, MO.  He served Heartland as the Director of Chaplaincy Services and the Director of the Marriage and Family Counseling Center. Bill earned the Doctor of Ministry at the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy.

Bill brings a significant background of skills and experience to his work in geriatric care management and the provision of care for seniors and their families.

Rausa founded Nurse Care of North Carolina, a home care and staffing agency, in January 2000 and has been employed since as President. She is a Registered Nurse with bachelor degrees from Clemson University and N.C. Central University. Rausa serves on the board of two nursing organizations, N.C. Nurses Association Triangle Region and Triangle Nurse Appreciation Council. She is also an active member of Health Affairs Roundtable, Durham Chamber of Commerce, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Rausa enjoys serving the needs of the senior communities in the Triangle.

Crystal is the Associate Publisher with Seniors Guide for the Triangle market. She is a graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Crystal has been with Seniors Guide since early 2006 and has been in publication sales for over nine years. She also serves as a secretary for Health Affairs Round Table and on the Executive Committee for Senior Resource Alliance of the Triangle.

Eleanor is the owner of AmeriCare HomeCare where she serves the Triangle community by providing non-medical homecare to people of all ages who need assistance with the activities of daily living. Her staff of Certified Nurse Assistants ministers companion care as well as personal care to seniors, those with disabilities, and those dealing with chronic illness.
Eleanor has over 20 years experience in sales and an MBA in marketing from North Carolina State University. She is active in the Chapel Hill community, volunteering for IFC and Project Homeless Connect.

Leslie is the business development director with Brookdale Senior Living in Chapel Hill and Durham. She is passionate about being a resource for seniors and their families and has been working in this capacity for over four years. Leslie is also a volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association, and has served on Memory Walk committees for six years. Leslie graduated from Ohio University’s College of Business with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Marketing. She and her husband Paul love the outdoors and enjoy traveling. They travelled to Japan in 2009 and have begun planning their next trip to Europe in 2011. As Member at Large, Leslie looks forward to growing the organization’s membership and ensuring opportunities for partnership among CHADER’s current members.
